Summer Camp 2024

Beauty and the Beast Jr.

This two week camp gives young performers a chance to live out their Broadway dreams in this spectacular version of this classic musical that is tailor-made for their age ranges. Campers will enjoy the strong, young heroine, Belle, who is willing to look beyond a facade, for inner beauty and love. And, the Beast, as he learns about loving one another, true kindness and sacrifice, in addition to all of the incredible supporting characters that offer some of the most magical moments of the show. Within two weeks the campers will audition, learn, and perform a full musical from start to finish. Everyone who signs up will have an opportunity to play a role in the show. They will have an opportunity to be adjudicated and work hands on with an artistic team who have worked and directed at a professional level, with some of the biggest names in the industry.  Your aspiring young artist will learn harmonies and complex vocal arrangements, learn exciting dance numbers, wear full costumes, work with professional sound and lighting, perform on a Broadway touring set, and even perform at the Old Town Temecula Theater for a live audience for two thrilling and epic performances of this timeless Disney masterpiece. This camp will give students an experience that will challenge them and inspire them to work harder. Campers looking for a theatre family will be delighted to join us and find and discover new friends. Additionally, for an extra fee, our campers will have the opportunity to attend a Broadway intensive workshop with a current industry professional entertainer who has toured as Belle in the National Tour and Las Vegas productions of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and who has been a cast member in a number of national Broadway tours. This added workshop promises to be an incredible opportunity for our young actors, especially those seriously considering entering the industry and taking their performances and auditions to the next level.
